Farm To Fashion.

Browder4050 is our sustainable collection of sweaters and accessories made from the wool of our Cotswold sheep. These fibers grow on healthy, climate beneficial soil right on our farm, and we partner with an upstate mill and small manufacturers that are family-owned, ethical and based in New York. In addition, we collaborate with fashion designers, and other farmers, on handknit capsule collections.

The Process.

The Cotswold is a long-wool breed of sheep that are sheared twice a year in the Spring and in the Fall. All of the wool is hand-skirted to remove debris and graded for quality. While some wool is sold directly to fiber artists across the country, the majority of the harvest is sent upstate to be mill-spun into yarn.
